"DARE MIGHTY THINGS": WORDS TO LIVE BY

Who would've thought that stopping in at Bud & Mary's would yielded up this little gem of wisdom? This is a quote from Teddy Roosevelt, and I can't think of anything to add. Wonderful.

I just read a couple of days ago that under Roosevelt's administration the White House was renovated so that the second floor would accomodate his children's exotic pets-- including raccoons, snakes, a badger and a bear. A menagerie in the White House? Now that's what it means to dare mighty things, alright.

TR was a "man's man" president that doesn't get enough play these days. He took in all that land for the national parks, was a big game hunter, fought in battle with the Rough Riders, and remodeled the nation's house to get his animal freak on... Bully !!! Elvis and the jungle room move over !!!
